Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use Form Analyzer?
Using Form Analyzer is simple and only takes three steps:

  • Record a Video: Use your phone to record a short video of yourself performing an exercise. For the best results, ensure your entire body is clearly visible in the frame.
  • Upload & Analyze: Open the app and upload the video you just recorded. Our AI Coach will begin the analysis immediately.
  • Review Your Report: Within seconds, you'll receive a clear and concise analysis report. The report will identify key issues in your form and provide specific corrective cues and drills.
What kind of videos can I upload?
You can upload any fitness or workout video where your form and movements are clearly visible. Our AI is designed to analyze various exercises.
How can I shoot the best video for an accurate analysis?
A high-quality video is key to getting a precise analysis. Please follow these tips:

  • Full-Body View: Make sure your entire body, from head to toe, is in the frame.
  • A Side Angle is Best: For most exercises like squats, deadlifts, and rows, a standard profile view allows the AI to best observe your joint angles and posture.
  • Keep it Steady: Place your phone on a tripod or lean it securely against an object. Shaky, handheld footage can affect the accuracy of the analysis.
  • Good Lighting, Simple Background: Record in a well-lit area and avoid backlighting. Try to use a clean background to minimize distractions.
  • 2-3 Full Reps: Please include 2 to 3 complete repetitions of the exercise in the video. This helps the AI better understand your movement pattern.
How accurate is the AI feedback?
Our AI uses advanced computer vision and machine learning models, trained on a vast dataset of fitness videos, to provide highly accurate and actionable feedback.
What should I do if the app identifies my exercise incorrectly?
Our AI model is trained on a vast amount of data, but errors can occasionally occur, especially if the camera angle is suboptimal or the exercise is an uncommon variation. If this happens, we recommend you:

  • First, please refer to the tips in the previous question on "how to shoot the best video" and try re-recording and uploading. Improving the camera angle and clarity usually solves most identification issues.
  • Our AI is constantly learning and evolving. Every successful analysis helps it get smarter. Thank you for helping us improve!
What types of exercises can Form Analyzer analyze?
Form Analyzer currently excels at analyzing common strength training exercises, especially classic compound and isolation movements using barbells, dumbbells, and bodyweight. Examples include:

  • Lower Body: All types of Squats, Deadlifts, Lunges, Hip Thrusts, etc.
  • Upper Body Pushing: Bench Press, Overhead Press, Push-ups, etc.
  • Upper Body Pulling: Pull-ups, Inverted Rows, Dumbbell Rows, etc.

We are continuously expanding our library of supported exercises. However, for unconventional, highly explosive movements (like Olympic lifts such as the snatch) or complex exercises that require multiple angles for assessment, the analysis may be limited at this time.
Is my video data private?
We prioritize your privacy. All uploaded video data is securely stored and used only for analysis to provide you with feedback. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
Can this app replace a human coach? Should I fully trust its advice?
No. Form Analyzer is a powerful supplementary tool designed to give you instant, objective feedback on your form and help you identify potential technical flaws. Think of it as a "form-correction mirror" in your pocket.
However, it cannot replace a qualified human coach who can provide personalized training plans, in-person spotting, tactile feedback, and comprehensive guidance tailored to your specific body and goals.
Safety First: Please use our advice as a reference. Always train within your limits and listen to your body's signals. If you feel any pain, stop immediately. If you have any past injuries or health conditions, please consult a doctor or physical therapist before starting any new exercise program.
